22 March 2007: Due to major procrastination in getting the pennant gallery back online after the datbase crash of last year, I decided to put up an old backup that I had of the gallery circa early 2005. I have tons of pennants not listed here, and will eventually get the entire collection re-posted in a better format.

18 January 2005: Happy New Year! A few dozen pennants have been added to the collection since the last update in November. I hope to have them all scanned and posted within the next few weeks. Highlights include a nice Radio Nacional de Venezuela banderin. Future plans include expanding the links section to include radio broadcast QSL galleries posted around the net and to eventually add a gallery of my QSL collection.

19 November 2004: Many new pennants have been added to the collection over the past few weeks. New additions from the America's include: La Voz de las Fuerzas Armadas, the now defunct armed forces AM and SW broadcaster in the Dominican Republic, a very large pennant from Colombia's Radio Guatapurí, an old pennant issued in 1968 from La Voz del Aire in Uruguay and a small but colorful design from Radio Tropical in Caracas, Venezuela. Moving westward around the globe, we come to Papua New Guinea with a small, cardboard pennant from NBC that was sent to listeners back in the 1970's. From the Voice of Turkey, a pennant which is of a similar motif to others offered in the 1970's and 1980's, but of a smaller variety. Finally, moving to Europe, we have many new additions with this update. Most prominent is a nice, mint pennant offered in the late 1950's by the popular Radio Luxembourg, which appears to have been issued for its listeners club. From the former East Germany, a pennant from Rundfunk der DDR which features the logos of various broadcasters from that era. Also a nice red, felt pennant from Polskie Radio in Warsaw, a paper pennant from IBRA Radio which broadcast from Portugal, and a yellow version of the Radio Sweden pennant. Last, but certainly not least, are new pennants from Spanish domestic broadcasters: a small blue pennant from Radio Madrid, an old RNE-Barcelona pennant, and from Radio Valencia, a golden-yellow version of the pennant featured in the last update.

26 October 2004: A dozen new pennants added to the gallery today, many of them from the 1960's and 1970's. Highlights include a very large vintage Radio Japan cloth pennant, an old Radio Moscow pennant which is possibly the first pennant ever offered by that station, and a large vintage pennant from Radio Prague. Also added are vintage Spanish pennants from MW broadcasters Radio Valencia, Radio España de Barcelona and a very rare pennant from La Voz de Alcira. I am also very pleased to receive a pennant from Radio Habana that I have wanted since the 1970's after I saw a picture of it in a DX club bulletin. Also new to the gallery is a nice cloth pennant from IBA in Israel, along with a second IBA pennant that has the station name typed in. A second Radio Tashkent pennant and also a third Radio Ulan Bator pennant are added to the collection, this one with a hand-written 1981 New Years greeting. And last but not least, is the latest pennant issued earlier this year by Radio Taiwan International which is unfortunately no longer available.

18 October 2004: I just added a few new pennants to the gallery, many of them from the 1960's. Highlights include a large, colorful Ecos del Torbes cloth pennant, a large Radio Berlin International pennant and a pennant from Rádio Sociedade de Feira in Brazil celebrating their 21'st Anniversary in 1969. Also just received is a nice cloth pennant featuring cartoon ducks from Radio Universal CX22, in Montevideo, Uruguay which was issued in the 1960's.
